At an early age Diane always had a keen interest in Art and Fashion. Entering the job field she became Head Bridal Consultant at the Fashionable Vogue Shoppe, at that time the largest and busiest Bridal Shop in Cornwall.

Missing her love for art, she took evening cake decorating classes, but says much was self taught.

In 1996 with the closing of the Bridal Shop, she turned to her next love, Art & Design; and opened her cake shop in the hamlet of Glen Walter.

With her innovative style and ideas she was the first in Cornwall to design Wedding Cakes using the newest trend of “fondant icing”. This allowed her creativity to excel and gave her immediate recognition. Soon after newspaper articles and local television spots followed. Diane is renowned throughout the city for her astounding creativity.
